Cyberspace Administration of China Launches Second Phase of 'Clear and Bright' Campaign to Rectify AI Chaos: Removing Over 5.61 Million Illegal and Improper Information Items and Investigating 49,000 Accounts
The Central Cyberspace Administration of China is advancing the second phase of the 'Clear and Bright - Rectifying AI Application Chaos' campaign, focusing on cracking down on behaviors such as manufacturing false information using AI, spreading violence and vulgarity, impersonation, and infringing on minors. So far, over 5.61 million illegal and improper information items have been removed, 49,000 accounts have been investigated, and more than 2,400 illegal websites and applications have been dealt with. Platforms and manufacturers are simultaneously strengthening content governance.
